Simply, blogging is the act of writing to reach mass audience by utilizing the Internet as a principal mode. The writers of these blogs are known as bloggers. Now, professional bloggers have taken the concept a step further and developed it into a more professional rhetoric which includes the most common concepts found in Journalism. Like Journalism, bloggers write everything from personal diaries, travel tales to news reports and product reviews. Most recent trends in blogging involve the use of video and pictures, a concept which has given rise to video blogging.
