Brake repair, things to consider
Regularly scheduled maintenance can go a long way toward keeping your car on the road for as long as possible. Have your brake fluid levels checked at the same time as your scheduled oil changes. Also ask your car repair technician to check your brake pads, drums, rotors, bearings, and anti lock and emergency braking systems, your battery, fuel, emission and ignition systems, powertrain and starting system to confirm that all is in good working order. Do not forget to ask your technician to top off your coolant, steering, transmission and windshield wiper fluids, change oil and air filters if necessary, and also visually check your car hoses, belts and wiper blades for deterioration and replace them when needed. Do not forget a proper tire and wheel inspection.
