Wax is the primary material to prevent the oxidation of the paint of an automobile. Car wax does not prevent from bird droppings or heavy objects falling which would still scratch the card, the only purpose of this protective layer is to protect from oxidation. For a natural shine and protection from the harsh environment there is nothing better than using car wax. Car wax forms a thin transparent layer over the cars exterior paint thus forming a primary protection against any harm caused to the automobile. Though car wax does not provide complete protection from scratches in any it does make them less visible which is very beneficial.
