Real estate commission and what you need to know

This in itself can serve to attract potential buyers who would rather deal directly with the seller rather than work through a broker. Of course, you will still have to pay a standard commission to your buyers broker, but that amount will be thousands less than if you had sold your home under the traditional selling broker arrangement. Who knows, you may end up selling to someone who is also working without a broker. In that case, the only broker fee you are responsible is the flat fee you paid when you signed up for no commission real estate services. As noted above, your broker acts as your point of contact during the life of your transaction.
