Let us consider the history of how tetra bio bags came to be. The tetraclassic packaging was launched in nineteen fifty three by the founder Ruben Rausing, who had been working on it since nineteen forty three (1943). This carton had the ability to be completely airtight which was accomplished by using a system of plastic and aluminum coated paperboard combined with an aseptic filling system. The companies name: TetraPak, was derived from the fact that these cartons were tetrahedral from "four" in the Greek language. In nineteen sixty three (1963) the company introduced another one called TetraBrik, a rectangular cuboid carton.
